What is the procedure if we decide to terminate the agreement?

If at any point the host company feel the placement is not progressing well or wish to terminate their part in the programme, a representative will be happy to discuss the matter and take action accordingly.

Is there anything we need to be aware of the students background?

All students are interviewed before placement commences. A student profile sheet is completed as part of this procedure and any details regarding the student such as health and dis-abilities (if any) are disclosed. Any details which a host company should be aware of can be disclosed.

How long does the programme last?

The programme operates between 1 - 3 days a week basis over an academic year (approx 36 weeks). Placement hours operate to that of an average school day 9.00am - 3.00pm. However if the host company and student both agree, placement hours can be extended.

Please note: students cannot work before 7.00am after 7.00pm and not to exceed 8 hours per day. Advice and guidance regarding these issues available on request.
