Making Learning Work has successfully placed many students on a Work Related Learning programme, with employment and apprenticeships, in some cases, being offered as a result.

We are proud to work with a variety of Blue Chip companies as well as small and medium enterprises, who offer Work Related Learning programmes to many young students.

The programme successfully equips a young person with the skills, which may enable them to move onto an apprenticeship programme or full time employment. The skills gained, however, will be equally valid if the students choose to move into further education.

Once a young person has experienced an interest in a particular occupational area, they are then matched to a local employer. The process is managed and all students are supported in the workplace. A training plan will be agreed that will meet the students needs and they will then spend 1 - 3 days a week with an employer working towards this training plan and gaining important World of Work skills.
